Give a kid a camera, see the world through their eyes...
THROUGH THEIR EYES is a creative outlet for the untold stories of reality as seen through the eyes of Atlanta's urban youth through photography and journalism. On May 20, 2010, from 6-9pm, the youth of our city will capture the images and stories very seldom heard or rarely ever seen in the 3rd Annual Through Their Eyes Art Gallery hosted at Youth Art Connection Gallery (63 Auburn Ave, Atlanta GA 30303). Last year over 300 people experienced the creativity and raw message of reality brought to life by 15 Atlanta Public School (APS) students.
This event is expected to attract over 400 individuals from the local Atlanta community. While admission is free, your donations are gladly accepted. All proceeds will go to continue programming that offers leadership, life-skills, and career opportunities that help our youth "be more."
